Adelaide family and pets escape injury after fierce winds upend caravan
A mother and her two young children were lucky to escape injury when a strong gust of wind tipped their caravan in Adelaide's southern suburbs.
Emergency crews rushed to Moana Beach Tourist Park around 8.30am after fierce winds tipped a family's caravan onto a nearby trailer.
Renae Welsh, her two kids, four cats and dog were forced to wait for an hour as crews worked to free them.

"Very scary, very scary I was more worried about my kids than anything," Welsh said.
Witnesses said although it was a scary experience for the family, they "held it together".
"I spoke to them through the window and just tried to reassure them that help was on the way," a witness said.
Crews stabilised the van before helping the family and their pets out with ladders.
Welsh, her kids and pets weren't seriously injured in the ordeal but the damage bill is expected to hit at least $5000.
Welsh and her family had been living at the park as they had been unable to secure a permanent home.
Park owners have organised for the family to stay in a cabin until they get back on their feet.
Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Tom Boeck told 9News patches of hail and thunderstorms were behind the sudden windy conditions.
"You certainly can get those strong winds from further up in the atmosphere so that's obviously what's happened in the southern suburbs there," Boeck said.

"We've had some significantly gusty winds extend down to the surface."
People staying at the park said the storm was like a "cyclone" causing caravans and cabins to shake.
"They say it is like a train coming through and that's what it sounded like, this great gust of wind, then I heard a bang," one woman said.
"The wind came up and the rain and next minute it was like a bomb had gone off, all the bins went everywhere and there was a hell of a noise," another resident said.
