Men allegedly caught with stationery after Adelaide school break-in

Two young men have been arrested after allegedly breaking into a school in Adelaide's south.

Police were called to a primary school on Flaxmill Road in Morphett Vale about 12.20am yesterday after an alarm was triggered.

After a search of the building's exterior, officers discovered a window that had been forced open.

Officers soon located two men - aged 20 and 21 - hiding under a desk inside a classroom.

Police said the pair were found with "a number of stationery items" in their pockets.

They were arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass.

The men were bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on January 25.
