Man dies after fatal crash in Adelaide

A man has died in a crash in the Adelaide suburb of Seaton.

Police and emergency services attended the scene at the intersection of Tapleys Hill Road and Trimmer Parade just before 7pm yesterday.

A ute collided with a Stobie pole, brought down power lines and hit a water meter.

The driver, a 31-year-old West Lakes man, died at the scene.

A SA Power Networks team has been in the area today, with reports of power outages.

Major crash investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Anyone who has dashcam footage or who witnessed the crash who was not able to stop at the scene and provide their details to police can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The man's death is the 81st life lost on South Australian roads so far this year.
