Solicitor-General quits job over row

Solicitor-General Justin Gleeson has tendered his resignation following controversy over his relationship with Attorney-General George Brandis.
Senator Brandis, who announced the move on Monday, said it was the "proper course of action".

Mr Gleeson said in his resignation letter the relationship with Senator Brandis was "irretrievably broken".
