Small tax cut better than none: business
AAP
Small business is urging senators to at least agree to a tax cut for companies with an annual turnover of up to $10 million before they head home for a pre-budget break.
The fate of the Turnbull government's $50 billion 10-year business tax cut package remains unclear with parliament extending sitting into Friday as negotiations continue.
"The worst case scenario is they go home and there's no decision at all, nobody gets anything," Council of Small Business of Australia CEO Peter Strong told ABC radio.
