Skydiver stranded upside down after landing in a tree on NSW South Coast
A skydiver has been rescued after he landed in a tree on the NSW South Coast.
The man became stranded upside down in a tree, 40 metres above the ground, near Moruya Airport.
Emergency crews from the NSW Police, Ambulance, Fire and Rescue, the Rural Fire Service, and the SES were deployed to help the stranded skydiver.

The man eventually managed to manoeuvre himself into the fork of the towering gum tree he landed in.
The man was eventually able to turn himself upright.
The local skydiving company also sent out an arborist to scale the massive trees.

He was able to climb above the skydiver and attach ropes that allowed firefighters to lower him to the ground.

The skydiver was reportedly uninjured.
