Skunk-sprayed talk show host the butt of a stinky prank
A US talk show host has reacted dramatically on-air after believing he was on the receiving end of a skunk spray, before realising he was the victim of a prank.
The Morning Blend co-host Mike DiGiacomo was seemingly sprayed by the animal, who was held by a handler and appearing on the show for a wildlife segment, and flailed around in his seat before he ran off the set.
“He’s really good, as long as he doesn’t feel threatened, you’re totally safe with skunks,” the handler said, as Mr DiGiacomo was sprayed.
However, Mr DiGiacomo quickly returns to the set to call the handler out.
“That’s the last time you’re coming on the show… get this guy out of here… you had a water bottle!” he jokes.
The handler holds up a secret squirt bottle, as co-host Kayla Thomas laughs.
