Sixth case of Legionnaires' in Victoria

A sixth case of Legionnaires' disease has been confirmed in Melbourne following an outbreak possibly linked to cooling towers in the CBD.
By the end of Thursday, 92 cooling water systems in the CBD identified as possibly carrying the potentially fatal bacteria will have been disinfected.
Doctors have been advised to consider Legionnaires' disease when diagnosing people with pneumonia, if they have visited the CBD since late March.
