Injured cyclists in stable condition

Four of the six cyclists injured in a collision with a car in Sydney's south are in a stable condition in hospital, with one discharged after being treated for fractures.

Six people were injured when they were hit by a car while riding along Southern Cross Drive at Eastlakes on Sunday morning, emergency services told AAP.

Two of the group were taken to St George Hospital at Kogarah and three were sent to St Vincent's Hospital at Darlinghurst.

Both cyclists at St George are in a stable condition, as are two of the patients at St Vincent's.

The third patient at St Vincent's has been discharged, a hospital spokesman told AAP. The remaining cyclist didn't require hospital treatment.

Southern Cross Drive was closed northbound between Botany Road and the Wentworth Avenue on-ramp at Eastlakes after the accident.

The road has since reopened and emergency services have left the scene.
