Sir Ian brings Gandalf back from the dead to motivate kids

One of the world's pre-eminent living actors, Sir Ian McKellen, has used his talents to frighten and mesmerise schoolchildren into studying for their exams by giving them instruction in character as Gandalf, from Lord of the Rings.
The actor was visiting the Chew Valley School in Bristol, UK when he took it upon himself to softly but firmly instruct the children that studying was vital.
If they failed to study, the result, he warned, was that "You shall not pass!"

The recitation of Sir Ian's famous line from the film was met with delighted laughter by the schoolchildren, who now have no excuse to neglect their revision.
