Signed Bradman bat among items stolen from Hobart home

A cricket bat signed by Australian great Don Bradman has been stolen from a Hobart home.
Police say the owner was on holiday for nine days from January 10 when the framed memorabile, which is surrounded by 14 images of the batsman in action, was taken.
The Slazenger itself is emblazoned with a sketch of the padded Bradman and accompanied by a list of his world records.
Other items taken in the robbery include a framed bat signed by former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting and a framed Essendon Football Club jumper signed by James Hird, Matthew Lloyd and Kevin Sheedy.
"The items are highly recognisable and it is hoped they will be returned safely to those who value them," police said in a statement on Tuesday.
The items were stolen from a private home in Lindisfarne on Hobart's eastern shore.
