Sick kids choose Sydney's top showbags

It was a sweet Friday for 30 sick kids charged with choosing this year's top showbags ahead of the 2015 Sydney Royal Easter Show.

The children, patients at Westmead Children's Hospital, were let loose on 349 showbags laid out at the showground at Olympic Park.

After sampling the record number of treat-filled bags, the "showbag testing team" were asked to choose their favourites.

Blinky Bill Bag, Milky Bar, Glow Showbag, Monster 100 in 1, and Fruit Tingles came in as the kids' top five.

Other favourites included the Disney-inspired Frozen bag, the Peppa Pig-George bag, retro Wagon Wheel bag, and the old staple Bertie Beetle bag.

Almost a million people are expected to go the show, which runs from March 26 to April 8.
