Shots fired into home in Bidwill in Sydney’s west while four children were inside

Four children were inside a house which came under fire in Sydney’s west overnight.

Police say the drive-by shooting happened just before midnight at a home in Carlisle Avenue, Bidwill.

There were eight people inside the home at the time, including four children aged under ten.

No one was injured in the shooting.

Forensic specialists have examined the scene but police are yet to make any arrests.

The vehicle involved has been described as a dark coloured four wheel drive.
