Shots have been fired into a car parked behind a house in Sydney's southwest in what police suspect is a targeted attack.
Police were called to the property in Austral shortly after 1am (AEDT) on Tuesday to find a number of rounds had gone through the vehicle and into the rear of the home.
Two occupants inside at the time were not injured.

Police said early investigations suggest it may be a targeted attack.
At the scene, one man told reporters his 40-year-old son was owed money after taking over the family construction business.
"I know people owe money ... I think everybody going to be upset," he told Macquarie Radio on Tuesday.
