Shots fired at house in Sydney's southwest

A man has escaped uninjured after shots were fired into his house in Sydney's southwest.

He was sitting in the lounge room of his home on Woodhouse Drive at Ambarvale when he heard loud noises outside about 6.15pm on Monday, police said.

He then discovered damage to a bedroom window believed to have been caused by gun shots.

Police are urging anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity near Woodhouse Drive and Nurra Reserve to contact Crime Stoppers.
