Shots fired after altercation outside Melbourne home

Police are continuing their search for the people involved in the shooting during an altercation at a Melbourne home.

Authorities were called to a property in Ross Street in Ferntree Gully at 2.45pm yesterday.

Detectives said a group of men, one armed with a gun, threatened another man at the home before the shots were fired.

The offenders then fled in a car. The victim also fled the scene separately.

No injuries have been reported.
