Shorten pokes fun at Turnbull 'genius'

Labor leader Bill Shorten has poked fun at Malcolm Turnbull's "genius" over the prime minister's comments about changes to capital gains tax.

Mr Shorten on Tuesday moved to censure Mr Turnbull for misleading parliament and the public about conflicting statements on the tax.

"Even when he gets it wrong, he is still right - us mere mortals don't understand the extent of Wentworth genius," Mr Shorten said.
