Man charged after couple targeted in early morning shooting on Melbourne street
A man has been charged after bullets were fired at a man and a woman in a car at Keilor Lodge in Melbourne's north-west yesterday.
A 32-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were in a car at Turin Place when the occupants of another car allegedly fired multiple shots at them at about 7.10am.
The pair weren't hit, but crashed into parked cars as they tried to drive away.

Locals were woken by the gunshots.
"I was just lying in bed and I heard about six gunshots," one person said.
"There was just like 'bang, bang, bang, bang, bang'."
"It got up to 20 gunshots that went off but during that last lot of gunshots I heard a woman screaming," another neighbour said.
The victim got out of the car and that's when police say he was assaulted.

More shots were fired before the offenders fled the scene in a Honda CRV.
The 32-year-old man suffered minor injuries and his 30-year-old partner was unharmed.
Forensic police spent most of the day analysing the crime scene.
Footage from witnesses and neighbouring homes will form a major part of the investigation.
While the victims have spoken to police briefly about what happened, 9News understands they are yet to give formal statements.
A 30-year-old man was later arrested in Keilor Lodge and charged with weapons offences.
The charges include discharge firearm into a moving vehicle, conduct endangering life and prohibited person possess firearm.
He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
Police believe those involved know each other.
