Teenage boy charged with murder of Shellharbour man

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murder over the death of 25-year-old Jack Westren near Shellharbour, NSW, this week.

Paramedics were called to Saturn Crescent, Dunmore, at about 3pm on Tuesday, where they found Westren with critical injuries.

They treated him for a stab wound to his abdomen, but he died at the scene.

9News understands police are investigating whether 25-year-old Jack Westren was lured over Tiktok to a street in Dunmore, near Shellharbour station.

Westren lived with a disability from two brain injuries.

Police allege he was stabbed while under attack by a number of people who fled in an Isuzu MU-X, which was later recovered in Albion Park Rail and is being forensically examined.

A 35-year-old woman, Tamara Doust, was arrested at a home in Albion Park Rail on Tuesday night and charged with murder.

She remains before the courts.

At about 3pm yesterday, police arrested a 15-year-old boy at a home in Horsley.

He was charged with murder and possession of a gel blaster.

The boy was refused bail and will appear in court today.

The investigation continues.
