Sixth person charged over killing of NSW bikie boss

A sixth person has been charged in relation to the "execution-style shooting" of aBandidos president in regional NSW earlier this year.

The 37-year-old was arrested at Orange Police Station about 7.45pm yesterday and charged with murder and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.

Senior bikie, Shane De Britt, 60, was found with a bullet wound to his head at a property on Catombal Road, Eurimbla, south of Dubbo, in January this year. He was allegedly shot with a shotgun as his wife slept in another room.

"I would classify it as an execution, cold-blooded killing. Someone's been shot in their own house in the middle of the night," Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty said at the time.

The 37-year-old man has been refused bail and is due to appear at Orange Local Court today.

In the last month, detectives have arrested five men and woman – aged 58, 39, 38, 22 and 34 – at Dubbo, Wellington and Orange.

All five were charged over their alleged roles in the shooting murder.

Detectives have said more arrests are likely.
