The Bureau of Meteorology said heavy rainfall may lead to flash flooding between now and late this evening.
The NSW State Emergency Service advises people to move cars under cover or away from trees, secure loose items and keep clear of fallen power lines, creeks and storm drains.
The next warning is expected to be issued by the bureau at about 8pm.
