Severe fire danger forecast across South Australia

South Australia is bracing for a day of severe fire danger. (AAP)
Total fire bans are in place across most of South Australia, with very hazardous fire conditions expected.
The Country Fire Service has forecast severe fire danger in the Northwest Pastoral, Flinders, Mid North, Mount Lofty Ranges, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East and Lower South East districts.

Total fire bans have been declared in those districts until midnight today.
Residents in those areas should prepare to implement their bushfire survival plans, the CFS says.
The temperature in Adelaide is forecast to hit 34C before a cool change tomorrow.
