A senior Queensland police officer has been suspended from official duty over allegations he inappropriately released information.
The 47-year-old detective senior sergeant from the State Crime Command is subject to a Crime and Misconduct Commission investigation.
That's all the public will be told about the matter for now.

"In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have an undertaking to inform the public when an officer faces disciplinary processes involving stand down or suspension," police said in a statement on Wednesday.
"This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated."
