Worker threatened with knife during supermarket robbery in Melbourne
A shop worker has been threatened with a knife during a supermarket robbery in Melbourne's inner suburbs overnight.
Police were called to FoodWorks Supermarket after receiving reports of two unknown offenders stealing items and making threats at the store on Charles Street in Seddon about 8.45pm.
Officers believe the pair broke into an alcohol cabinet and stole several bottles of spirits.

Police said one of the offenders threatened a worker with a knife.
The two offenders fled the scene on foot and were last spotted running along Perry Street in Yarraville.
There were no physical injuries reported.
Police with assistance from Air Wing and the K9 unit, failed to find the offenders.

Both of the males are described as being Caucasian in appearance, of slim build and aged in their late teens.
One of the males was wearing a white windcheater and grey track pants. The second male wore a black hoodie, black puffer vest and dark-coloured pants.
