Second NSW arrest after teen bikie slain

A second man has been charged with murder following the death of teenage bikie associate Bassil Hijazi in Sydney last year.

The 18-year-old was allegedly gunned down execution-style in a car park in the city's south on July 29.

Police have previously alleged Hijazi was sitting in a parked vehicle in Bexley's Albyn Street when he was approached by two men.

When he tried to run, he was allegedly shot multiple times.

The Hurstville teenager, who was known to police and was believed to be affiliated with the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang, had survived a bullet to the neck only weeks earlier.

On Tuesday, detectives from a joint Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad and St George Local Area Command operation tasked with investigating the killing, Strike Force Doust, charged a 24-year-old man with murder.

The man was refused bail during an appearance at Goulburn Police Station and is due to appear before Sydney's Central Local Court on July 17.

His arrest followed that of a 23-year-old man in March.

That man was also charged with murdering Hijazi and is still before the courts.
