Search underway after toilet paper thief pulls knife on deli owner

Police are hunting an armed robber who threatened a deli owner with a knife, after stealing toilet paper from his business in Perth’s south.

Security cameras were rolling when the thief broke in through the rear door of the Baldivis deli on November 29, pinching a six pack of toilet paper.

Police said the owner chased the thief through the carpark before the man pulled a knife, taking off down Osgood Way.

The man has been described as fair-skinned and in his mid-30s. He was carrying a pink shopping bag at the time.
