Hundreds of women who gave birth towards the end of last year in eastern Sydney will be interviewed by police in an attempt to find the mother of a baby found buried at Maroubra Beach.
Police are looking for the parents of a baby girl, whose decomposed body was found by two boys as they dug in the sand at the southern end of the beach.

"At this stage we are concentrating our effort on medical establishments in the local area," Detective Superintendent Gavin Dengate said.
