Search for missing Victorian fishermen becomes recovery mission

Police have declared the search for two men missing in waters off Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula has become a recovery mission.
Just before 8am police were called to Fingal Beach at Cape Schanck after three men diving for shellfish were swept off the rocks.
One of them resurfaced and was treated for hypothermia at Rosebud Hospital.

However the other two have not been seen since.
Police declared the search to be a recovery mission at 2pm after Victoria Police Air Wing, the Water Police, surf life savers and marine rescue teams failed to find the men.
The men’s vehicles and fishing equipment have been found.
