'Please come home, I miss you': Younger sister's desperate plea

The little sister of young father Scott Redman has issued a heartbreaking plea for him to return home, two weeks after he fled Adelaide and went missing.

Mr Redman, who has two young twins, is the subject of a desperate search in an area of dense bushland at Secret Rocks west of Whyalla.

The black SUV Mr Redman was last seen in was found dumped a little over a week ago, following a high-speed police pursuit on the Eyre Highway.

Mr Redman's eight-year-old sister Kyeshia said her mother was "heartbroken" as she issued a plea to her brother.

"I miss you Scott, and I want you to come home," she said.

Kyeshia said Mr Redman had promised them he would keep in contact.

She thanked the search crews for their efforts.

Today's search was the most extensive yet.

Police stressed their primary concern was for Mr Redman's safety.
