Schoolies brutally rejected on live TV

Two would-be roving reporters at Schoolies have discovered the hard way that being on television doesn't always mean success with women.

On the streets with microphone in hand for Channel 10's The Project, school leavers 'Jeff' and another unnamed teen began talking to a fellow schoolie, Marisa Cummings.

A man off-camera asks the Brisbane blonde what she makes of the two, as they had been claiming they had been the beneficiaries of a few "party pashes".

Things then nose-dived for the pair, with Ms Cummings clearly unimpressed with Jeff's striking resemblance to late Beatle John Lennon.

Her reaction saw the interview cut brutally short to much laughter by The Project's panel and live audience.

"Jeff may be my favourite Chris Lilley character of all time," panel member Peter Helliar said, referring to the satirical Summer Heights High creator.
