YOUR SAY: Are we doing enough to protect Aussie kids from bullying?

A national study has found one in three ten-year-olds are being bullied at school.

An Australian Institute of Family Studies report released yesterday found in at least half of those instances, the child’s parents weren’t aware, or didn’t consider the actions to be bullying.

Similarly, in four out of five cases, teachers did not go on to report the bullying.

The study has raised questions as to whether parents and teachers are doing enough to support children who claim they’re being bullied.
