Sawn-off shotguns, drugs found in Qld home

Sawn-off shotguns, ammunition, drugs and money have been found in a house in southern Queensland after police pulled over a car.

Police found guns and drugs inside a car they pulled over and searched in Bundaberg on Saturday afternoon.

Officers then raided a home north of Bundaberg, where they allegedly found a number of guns, ammunition, drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a "significant" amount of money.

A man, 26, has been charged with possessing a shortened firearm, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and a range of drugs and weapons possession offences.

A 20-year-old woman has also been charged with possessing a shortened firearm and a range of drugs and weapons possession offences.

Both are due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Monday.
