Sarah Harris welcomes her first child

TV presenter Sarah Harris and her husband Tom Ward have welcomed the the birth of their first child.

The Studio 10 host gave birth to a baby boy, Paul William Ward, on Wednesday, weighing 4.23 kilograms and measuring 54 centimetres.

"Bubs is a bruiser, but perfect. We're in love!," Harris said in a statement released by Network Ten.

Ten recruited Harris from the Nine Network to help head-up the panel show Studio 10 which started airing in 2013.
