Australia has extended sanctions on five Iranians suspected of terrorism.

Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has renewed Australia's sanctions on Manssor Arbabsiar, Abdul Reza Shahlai, Ali Gholam Shakuri, Hamed Abdollahi and Qasem Soleimani for another three years.

The decision means it remains a crime to deal with them in any way, and is aimed at curbing the cash flow to terrorists.

Anyone who suspects they may have had dealings with anyone on the Australian government's list of proscribed individuals must contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
