Woman arrested over SA stabbing death

A woman has been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a man at a home in the South Australian city of Port Augusta.

Just after 9pm on Saturday, police and ambulance crews were called to a house in Russell Avenue on reports of a stabbing.

Paramedics treated the unconscious man, who had been stabbed in the chest, but he died at the scene.

Police arrested a woman and have been interviewing her.
