Woman and partner murdered ex-lover

A woman and her new boyfriend have been found guilty of murdering her ex-lover at an Adelaide car wash.

Tristan Kaye Castle was accused of luring Adrian Paul MacDonald into a car before he was shot dead by her new lover, Jason Bucca, whom she had been seeing for about a week.

Castle, 37, and Bucca, 25, pleaded not guilty to murdering Mr MacDonald, 39, at the Big Bucket Car Wash in Parafield on the morning of February 3, 2013.

Castle told the Supreme Court jury another man was responsible for the shooting and she had no idea he had a gun on him when she drove him to the car wash.

The crown alleged Castle lured Mr MacDonald into the car, where Bucca was lying in the boot with a gun.

The jury returned guilty verdicts on Wednesday and the couple will face a sentence hearing in February.
