Water supply cut to three SA towns

Three South Australian towns are without water after a rupture to a major pipeline.

The supply of water to thousands of residents in Goolwa, Middleton and Hindmarsh Island stopped on Thursday night.

SA Water says crews worked through the night, but the damaged section of pipe was only exposed on Friday morning.

SA Water, which has arranged for bottles of water to be provided to residents, says it cannot say when the supply will be resumed.
