Three hospitalised in SA helicopter crash

Three men have been airlifted to hospital after a helicopter crash in SA's far north.

The helicopter crashed northeast of Hawker in the Flinders Ranges about 11.30am on Sunday.

A 58-year-old pilot from Adelaide and two passengers, a 38-year-old and 32-year-old from Queensland, were seriously injured.

They were flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital by the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau are investigating the crash.
