Table-top burner explodes in SA man's face

A 50-year-old Adelaide man has suffered serious burns after an ethanol table-top decorative burner exploded as he was trying to refill it.
The Metropolitan Fire Service was called to the West Beach home just after midnight on Friday on reports of an explosion.
The man is in hospital with significant burn injuries.

The MFS has warned people to use extreme caution when refilling burners or lamps, saying they should always wait until the item has cooled.
