Stolen car found two months later

A car stolen in Adelaide more than two months ago has been found - with a new paint job - leading to the arrest of two people.

The distinctive blue Mitsubishi Lancer was stolen from a Seaford Meadows house on June 20 but was spotted in the southern suburbs by police patrols on Wednesday.

Police allege the car has been involved in several traffic and theft matters since being taken.

A 34-year-old Seaford man has been charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified, theft and driving with unassigned number plates.

A 21-year-old Port Noarlunga woman has been charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle and fined for possessing a small amount of cannabis.
