Drink driver allegedly crashes into police during breath test in Adelaide
An alleged drink driver has crashed into police while they were carrying out a breath test on another drink driver in Adelaide
The incident began when a black Jeep crashed into the median barrier on the North South Motorway at Waterloo Corner about 1am this morning.
"When police arrived they parked their car behind the crashed vehicle with their emergency lights activated and went to speak to the driver," South Australia Police said in a statement.

A 34-year-old Smithfield man allegedly returned a positive breath test reading of 0.236, nearly five times the legal limit.
"As police were conducting the breath test when a silver Mitsubishi that was travelling north crashed into the rear of the parked police car," police said.
The 56-year-old driver allegedly returned a positive breath test of 0.183.

"The first man was reported for drink driving, while the second man was reported for drink driving and driving without due care.
"Both men lost their licences on the spot for 12 months and their cars were towed from the scene and impounded for 28 days."
They will be summonsed to court at a later date.
