Two-per-person item limits confirmed at Woolworths stores across South Australia
Woolworths has confirmed its South Australian stores will remain open during lockdown and will enforce two-per-person buying limits on certain items.
The limit rule comes as supermarkets and retailers around South Australia were swarmed today after an announcement the state will enter a minimum six-day lockdown from midnight.
Items including toilet paper, paper towel, frozen meats, long life milk, canned goods, antibacterial wipes and hand wash, among others, have been limited to two-per-person.

Premier Steve Marshall announced today everything except essential services and businesses will close from midnight.
Mr Marshall reinforced the fact supermarkets and other essential services remain open and urged people not to rush out this afternoon and hoard items.
However, long lines have already formed at supermarkets in Adelaide with people buying up toilet paper, meat, eggs.
Chief Health Officer Nicola Spurrier said the closures will put a lot of strain on many people, but called for patience.
"This is a time to be patient, to be calm and to trust in people there to support you," Prof Spurrier said today.

"We all need to look after each other. It's no point panicking and rushing to the shops and buying up lots of toilet paper. We have to be looking out for other people."
The state's Police Commissioner Grant Stevens echoed these words, saying "there is no need for people to rush to supermarket".
Mr Stevens added police officers are on standby for "any civil disorder".
