Six masked men in tomahawk attack

Six masked bandits have attacked two people with a tomahawk after forcing their way into the victims' home northwest of Adelaide.

The men forced their way through the front door of the Taperoo home before 6.30am on Monday, threatening the two occupants before hitting both in the head with a tomahawk and stealing a wallet.

A 53-year-old was taken to hospital with head and facial injuries while a 46-year-old suffered a head injury but did not need medical treatment, South Australian Police said.
