SA woman dies after being hit by car

A woman has died almost a month after she and another pedestrian were hit by a car in Adelaide.

A 49-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man were hospitalised with serious injuries after they were hit by a car in Holden Hill on August 23.

The woman died on Thursday and the male driver is assisting police with their investigation into the crash.

SA's road toll is 70, compared to 66 this time last year.
