SA man threatens police with knife

A man is accused of threatening police officers with a knife on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula.

The 28-year-old allegedly breached an intervention order before before being disarmed at a woman's Whyalla home on Monday night.

He was refused bail to appear in the Whyalla Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with offences including carrying an offensive weapon and the aggravated assault of police.
