SA Libs renew stolen generation support
AAP
The South Australian opposition is renewing a bid to get compensation for local victims of the stolen generation.
The Liberals brought a bill before parliament last year and while it passed the upper house it lapsed before a vote was taken in the House of Assembly.
Opposition Leader Steven Marshall says the bill will now be reintroduced to not only provide financial compensation but to also acknowledge that the policies of past governments caused emotional, physical and cultural harm.
