South Australia's unemployment rate remains the highest in the nation but the government insists people are still finding work.
The state's jobless rate grew 0.1 per cent to 6.9 per cent in May, while the number of people looking for work also fell slightly.
"While South Australia continues to face a significant employment challenge, jobs are being created," Employment Minister Kyam Maher said on Thursday.
