SA drink-driver crashes into bottle shop

A drunk woman has crashed into a bottle shop on her way to buy alcohol.

The 42-year-old woman crashed into the verandah of a Port Lincoln bottle shop on Thursday while she was attempting to park, South Australian police say.

She bought alcohol before leaving her details with staff and driving home.

She recorded a blood alcohol level of 0.213, more than four times the legal limit, when police later went to her house.

She's lost her licence for a year.
