Gold, silver and cash have been seized as police raided cannabis growing houses south of Adelaide.

Police say they've disrupted the cannabis syndicate operating in homes in Hallett Cove, Delamere and Christies Beach after arresting three men, aged 44 to 55.

Three ounces of gold, a kilogram of silver, two cars and more than $80,000 in cash were seized along with cannabis plants and oil, and growing equipment.

"Police remind the public that the growing of cannabis is illegal," Detective Acting Superintendent Tony Crameri said in a statement on Wednesday.

"Hydroponic cannabis crops in domestic premises places not only the offender but their family and neighbours at risk."

The men are expected to face drug trafficking, cultivating and money laundering charges in Christies Beach Magistrates Court next month.
