Man stabbed, bashed in Adelaide attack

A man has multiple stab wounds after being set upon by four men who ambushed him outside his home in Adelaide's north.

The victim had just returned to his suburban Pooraka home early on Monday when a car with men pulled up outside.

Three men got out of the car with one stabbing the man in the shoulder.

Police say the victim ran off but was chased and stabbed a second time in the back and also assaulted with a wrench.

He was driven to hospital by his family and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police don't believe the incident to be a random attack.
